Our History
The T.O.V.A. has its roots in a 1966 National Institute of Health-funded research project led by Lawrence Greenberg, M.D. Over the years a dedicated team of researchers including neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, and computer engineers continued development of this groundbreaking tool. Driven by their passion for understanding attention and its impact on individuals, they laid the foundation for what would become the T.O.V.A.
The T.O.V.A. has evolved with improvements in technology and expanded features. It is a widely used tool in clinical trials and research projects, providing objective measures of attention and self-regulation. Unlike subjective behavior rating scales, the T.O.V.A. offers a precise and unbiased assessment of attention and inhibitory control.
Today, we continue to build upon our rich heritage and commitment to improving lives through advanced attention assessment. The TOVA Company equips clinicians with the tools they need to make informed decisions and to help individuals achieve their full potential.

The TOVA Team
We are a team of clinicians, computer programmers (including, yes, rocket scientists), electrical engineers, researchers, consultants, and customer service representatives. Our team cares deeply about the individuals they serve, the science behind the test, and the quality of their product. We see ourselves as a part of your team, and we strive to make your work better, easier, more profitable, and more rewarding. We are based in Langley, Washington on beautiful Whidbey Island.
